Further education and vocational education are a vital part of Wales' economy, contributing £4 billion per annum to the economy of Wales, and improving the prospects of learners across the nation.
Building on this, ColegauCymru established a cross party group (CPG) in May 2017 to discuss and explore potential opportunities for the future skills landscape of Wales. The group meets termly (three times a year) to promote understanding amongst Assembly Members and other relevant stakeholders about the issues facing further education and future skills in Wales.
Please visit the Senedd website for all CPG meeting notes, agendas and presentations.
Attract an audience of between 40-50, including AMs, Ministers, College Principals, Business leaders and wider stakeholders.
Other aims of the meetings are:
19/02/19 – A Focus on Mental Health - lunchtime event
21/05/19 – Learners with Additional Learning Needs (ALN)
09/10/18 – Funding for the Future
